PEARLS Object’s Overview
PEARLS objects are simply work packages which are created within the workspace. The objects / work packages can be requirements, user stories, use cases, reviews etc.…. and they keep evolving. Below are some of the basic and critical properties which an object is tied with.

With PEARLS, now you can collaborate as you author in real time with either your peers or your stakeholders, locally or geographically dispersed. Select your users, type your concern and it’s all taken care of. PEARLS manages history of all comments received and sent in a manner which is simple. PEARLS also allows users to Create and manage Reviews for team members or for stakeholders.

Version Management
PEARLS provides an easy way to manage requirements specification versioning. All versions are stored within the project and the user can choose to view (read only) whichever version they like. Think of versioning as a snapshot of the actual deliverable / specification. PEARLS automatically generates a version number which gets associated to the specification and is listed under versioning.

Glossary
Every organization have some standards which keep evolving overtime and many of which are benchmarked to be used across board. As this is a vital in that it represents the uniformity and reflects how efficiently such standards are met through the entire organization. Many organizations with a global footprint devise standards with respect to their respective geo-location. A good hefty glossary thus comes into existence and is constantly being updated with time as new processes, policies or procedures are inducted.
With PEARLS, requirements work packages can be associated with glossary items in easy way. Freely and easily add abbreviation and their complete form and its all take care of. All glossary is part of your deliverables too.
